Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust MEAL frameworks, strategies, and tools for programs in Afghanistan.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure program performance and impact.
- Ensure accountability mechanisms are in place, including feedback and response systems for beneficiaries.
- Facilitate learning processes from program activities to inform adaptation and future program design.
- Provide technical guidance and capacity building to staff and partners on MEAL best practices.
- Prepare high-quality MEAL reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelors-degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEAL roles, preferably within the humanitarian or development sector.
- Proven expertise in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis methods.
- Strong understanding of accountability to affected populations principles.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and report writing skills.
- Commitment to Save the Children’s values and child safeguarding policies.
