Key Responsibilities

• Work on carpentry, fabrication, assembly and product development projects.
• Use hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery safely and confidently.
• Measure, prepare, build, fit and finish components with care and accuracy.
• Plan your work, identify what’s needed and carry projects through to completion.
• Troubleshoot practical challenges and suggest ways to improve designs and processes.

Requirements

• Practical experience in carpentry and workshop environments.
• Confidence working with tools, machines and different materials.
• Strong critical thinking, sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills.
• The ability to understand instructions, measurements and drawings.
• Someone reliable, organised and able to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn new equipment and techniques.
• Experience with CNC machines or 3D printing would be an advantage.
