• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, technology, or similar.
• Experience: 10+ years of overall experience working in software engineering and data with experience spanning multiple data disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the talented ML team in pursuits to improve price optimization and boost operational efficiency.
• Own the entire ML workflow, from identifying meaningful opportunities to deployment.
• Lead the causal inference and experimentation practice to measure the impact of every model and decision rigorously.
• Develop a deep understanding of the processes that make up QC business products and operations.
• Set the team's roadmap, success criteria, and priorities in close collaboration with engineering and business partners.
• Coach and mentor ML engineers, data scientists, and data engineers technically and professionally.

Requirements

• Expert in both classical machine learning and deep learning.
• Strong experience with classical ML frameworks and deep learning frameworks.
• Strong background in experiment design and statistical analysis, with the ability to run and analyze A/B and multivariate tests.
• Strong causal thinking and hands-on experience with incrementality measurement and uplift modelling.
• 8+ years of experience in machine learning, at a high growth consumer product company or similar.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience, in ML engineering or a related area.
