Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for VoIP and Asterisk-based systems, including call routing, queues, and IVR.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to SIP trunks, codecs, network connectivity, and call quality.
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade Asterisk servers and related components.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and resolve software bugs and system inefficiencies.
- Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical incidents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in VoIP support, specifically with Asterisk.
- Strong understanding of SIP protocol, RTP, and VoIP troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark).
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- Experience with SQL databases and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
