Job Overview
Tecpetrol is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee its warehouse operations in Neuquén. The role is responsible for managing critical inventory, supervising warehouse staff, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, and driving process optimization through technology and best practices. This position is ideal for professionals with strong leadership skills and proven experience in logistics, oil & gas, or industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Control stock of critical materials (valves, pipes, chemicals, spare parts). Perform cyclical and external audits, track shortages with Demand Planning.
- Material Handling: Coordinate with logistics for inbound deliveries, validate documentation (guides, certificates, MSDS), and prepare dispatches to plants and field operations.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with HSE standards, manage hazardous waste and flammable materials, oversee scrap handling and disposal.
- Team Supervision: Lead warehouse operators, admin staff, and contractors, ensuring adherence to operational practices.
- Process Optimization: Improve warehouse layout and workflows, implement technologies (RFID, drones, automation), reduce picking time and dispatch errors.
- Documentation & Reporting: Monitor overstock, manage unused inventory through reuse, sale, or auction, and prepare monthly reports for management and planning.
Requirements
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics roles, preferably in oil & gas, logistics, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and warehouse technologies.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday at Tecpetrol’s Fortín site.
