Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of health programs in Tanzania.
- Oversee program implementation, ensuring alignment with CHAI’s mission and goals.
- Manage and mentor program teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government partners, donors, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor program budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation and financial oversight.
- Contribute to identifying new program opportunities and support resource mobilization efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, International Development, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in program management, preferably in global health or non-profit sectors.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of impact.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in strategic planning and M&E.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural settings and complex, fast-paced environments.
