    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code.
    • Build and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
    • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
    • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
    • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
    • Implement security and data protection settings.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role (5+ years).
    • Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go, Ruby).
    • Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and ORM frameworks.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
