Business Analyst

Job Overview

Viking EMEA is expanding and seeking a Business Analyst to join its team in Differdange, Luxembourg. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will provide data-driven insights, analyze sales trends, pricing, and profitability, and develop strategies that support growth across EMEA. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional passionate about analytics and business strategy, with opportunities to travel internationally.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze sales behavior and identify opportunities to maximize profitability.
• Deliver data-driven insights on sales, pricing, and product trends.
• Develop central sources of market pricing and product mix analyses.
• Contribute to discount structures, rebate plans, and profitability reports.
• Run simulations for pricing changes, rebates, and supplier cost increases.
• Collaborate with product, operations, finance, and commercial teams.
• Provide insights on competitor pricing models for existing and new products.
• Build Power BI dashboards and user-friendly reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Statistics, Business Analytics, or Finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in pricing, data analytics, or finance.
• Strong command of MS Excel/Access and BI tools (Power BI).
• Experience with SAP and Python (pandas, BeautifulSoup) is a plus.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and business acumen.
• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
