Job Overview
Deutsche Börse Group is hiring a Data Governance Specialist to join Clearstream Fund Services in Luxembourg. In this role, you will drive the implementation of the Data Governance Framework, ensuring high-quality metadata, governance compliance, and alignment with enterprise data strategies. This position is ideal for an experienced data governance professional with strong technical and analytical expertise.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for data domains during data product onboarding into the enterprise data catalogue.
- Ensure metadata completeness and quality in collaboration with domain owners and stewards.
- Support the rollout of the Data Governance Framework at both local and group levels.
- Contribute to governance tool requirements, evaluation, and deployment.
- Assist with group policies, standards, and data quality framework implementation.
- Promote data knowledge sharing and deliver presentations to governance stakeholders.
- Support Data Architects to align with the data domains model.
- Contribute to training and awareness sessions across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data governance or data management (central governance/stewardship roles preferred).
- Strong ability to translate governance concepts into actionable practices.
- Experience with enterprise data catalogue tools (Atlan, Collibra, or similar).
- Understanding of metadata, lineage, stewardship, and data ownership.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and BCBS239 principles.
- Analytical mindset with strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; French is a plus.
