Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive ESG and climate safeguard strategies. Provide expert advisory services to clients within the energy and extractives sectors. Conduct thorough environmental impact assessments and climate risk analyses. Ensure client projects comply with international ESG standards and relevant regulations. Develop and promote sustainable practices and climate-aligned initiatives. Mentor junior staff and contribute to thought leadership in the field of ESG.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in ESG, climate safeguards, or environmental consulting. Strong understanding of international environmental regulations, frameworks, and best practices. Proven track record in a strategic advisory capacity within the energy or extractives industry. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or a related field.
