Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated extraction and purification of DNA/RNA from clinical specimens.
• Prepare DNA libraries and utilize sequencing platforms for basic genomic analysis.
• Operate and troubleshoot Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) equipment.
• Conduct PCR, Sanger sequencing, and MLPA testing.
• Perform QA/QC procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with CAP/ISO standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, with at least 1 year in molecular biology or genomics.
• Hands-on experience with Sanger Sequencing, MLPA, NGS and/or Microarray techniques.
• Experience working in a CAP or ISO15189-accredited laboratory.
• DOH/DHA license or eligibility.
• Fluent in English.
