Key Responsibilities
- Maintain constant surveillance of guests in and around pool areas.
- Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations.
- Respond immediately and effectively to emergencies and administer first aid or CPR as needed.
- Educate guests on water safety and proper use of facilities.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and order of pool decks and surrounding areas.
- Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and report any issues.
Requirements
- Strong swimming ability and physical fitness.
- Current Lifeguard certification (e.g., Red Cross or equivalent) or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to remain vigilant and focused for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with guests of all ages.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international cruise environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
