Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in accordance with the British curriculum and IGCSE specifications.
• Teach secondary students across a range of year groups, adapting instruction to meet different learning needs.
• Develop students’ mathematical understanding, analytical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare students effectively for IGCSE Mathematics examinations.
• Assess students’ learning regularly through formative and summative assessments.
• Establish a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience teaching Mathematics at secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the British curriculum and IGCSE Mathematics examinations.
• Excellent classroom management, lesson-planning and assessment skills.
• The ability to differentiate instruction and support students with varied learning needs.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing and continuous professional development.
