Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support various programme activities related to urban resilience and sustainability.
- Assist in the communication and dissemination of global best practices, research, and initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of content and resources for the Urban Resilience Hub platform.
- Facilitate engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders including academics, experts, and city representatives.
- Support project planning, monitoring, and reporting functions within the programme.
- Organize and participate in relevant meetings, workshops, and events to promote urban resilience.
Requirements
- Entry-level experience in programme management, international development, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural international environment.
- Demonstrated interest in urban development, resilience, and sustainability challenges.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other UN official languages is an advantage.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced temporary assignment.
