Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support various programme activities related to urban resilience and sustainability.
  • Assist in the communication and dissemination of global best practices, research, and initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of content and resources for the Urban Resilience Hub platform.
  • Facilitate engagement with a diverse range of stakeholders including academics, experts, and city representatives.
  • Support project planning, monitoring, and reporting functions within the programme.
  • Organize and participate in relevant meetings, workshops, and events to promote urban resilience.

Requirements

  • Entry-level experience in programme management, international development, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural international environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in urban development, resilience, and sustainability challenges.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of other UN official languages is an advantage.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced temporary assignment.
