Job Overview
Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead EPC offshore fabrication projects, including jackets, topsides, subsea structures, and living quarters modules. Based in Ras Laffan, this role requires hands-on project management across all phases—from pre-bid to project close-out—ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assigned offshore fabrication projects, ensuring compliance with client and company standards.
- Manage time, budget, scope, procurement, and vendor relations across all project phases.
- Track project cost performance and ensure timely reporting.
- Organize and conduct project meetings with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Develop contingency plans to address critical path delays.
- Provide leadership, motivation, and clear direction to site-based teams.
- Oversee project documentation, deliverables, and final client submissions.
- Drive project close-out, evaluations, and lessons learned.
- Promote a strong safety-first culture across all operations.
Skills & Requirements
- BE in Mechanical Engineering with relevant offshore fabrication experience.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of offshore EPC project management experience.
- Strong commercial awareness, risk management, and contractual knowledge.
- Ability to manage multinational, multicultural project teams.
- Excellent communication, supervisory, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of shipyard operations, fabrication methodologies, and loadout planning.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project tools).
