NEXTEKCI is seeking an experienced professional to manage their parent stock breeder farm in Agnibilékrou, Côte d'Ivoire. This role is crucial for overseeing the daily operations of the farm, from chick start-up to the end of the laying period.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the parent stock breeder farm.
• Oversee chick start-up, heating, ventilation, and building ambiance.
• Implement breeding programs, including feeding and lighting schedules, weight control, and sex separation.
• Manage the laying phase, including stimulation, male management, and fertility monitoring.
• Ensure proper collection, sorting, and storage of hatching eggs.
• Implement biosecurity, hygiene, cleaning, and sanitation protocols.
• Monitor performance indicators (laying, mortality, consumption, fertility) and report to management.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in breeder farm management, with a portion as a farm or site manager.
• Proficiency in the start-up, growth, and laying phases of parent stock.
• Experience with a strain guide (Ross, Cobb, Hubbard, or equivalent).
• Training in animal production or agronomy (e.g., higher technician, engineer, or veterinarian).
• Fluent in French; experience in Africa is a plus.
• Rigorous, hands-on, and capable of leading a team.
