Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings submitted to the Design Review Team.
• Create Lease Outline Drawings (LODs) by reviewing concepts and detailed submissions against specific design criteria.
• Study and analyze the Design Criteria Manual, referring to specific Checklists and Comments.
• Review shell and core drawings to aggregate details for unit-specific LODs.
• Conduct physical site visits to understand base build surroundings.
• Monitor compliance with multiple municipality building codes.
• Create LOD’s with minimum guidance and ensure accuracy.

Requirements

• Maintain professional knowledge to support the delivery of Design Review and LOD products.
• Demonstrate attention to detail during design review, ensuring consistency for stakeholders.
• Utilize time effectively to understand architectural submissions and review them against set criteria.
• Coordinate drawings with Tenant, Leasing, Legal, and Marketing & Project Teams when required.
• Complete on-site inspections of design to ensure as-built reflects approved design.
• Adopt appropriate communication methods to ensure messages are relayed effectively.
• Articulate clearly on drawing submissions using comments or sketches that are easily interpreted.
• Communicate positively with project teams, maintaining teamwork and a collaborative approach.
• Attend regular team update meetings as requested by the Design Manager.
• Complete Design Review and LOD deliverables in a timely manner.
