Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Department and support the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations within a dynamic international business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing accounting records, revenues, and expenses with a focus on tax compliance.
• Monitoring account balances and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Accounting for fixed assets and leases in accordance with IFRS 16.
• Participating in the preparation of tax declarations and annual financial statements.
• Communicating with tax authorities and auditors, including preparation for tax audits.
• Supporting the Chief Accountant to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• University degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Bulgarian tax legislation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Prior experience in retail is an advantage.
• Good command of English is a plus.
