Key Responsibilities

• Build and own high-quality React Native features end to end, from client problems and solution design through implementation, launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Partner closely with Product and Design to shape thoughtful, responsive, and trustworthy financial experiences.
• Work with APIs and dynamic or real-time data, making strong decisions on state management, rendering, performance, architecture, and reliability.
• Raise the product-engineering bar through technical discussions, code reviews, and collaboration.
• Help build Kraken’s new app for Asian markets, acting as a subject-matter guide on regional UX and design expectations.

Requirements

• Strong React Native experience, including shipping meaningful production applications and making sound architectural and implementation decisions.
• A product-building mindset and strong product judgment, turning loosely defined problems into measurable product outcomes.
• End-to-end feature ownership, using metrics, experimentation, and client feedback to assess and improve shipped features.
• Experience building responsive, data-rich applications using APIs and dynamic or real-time data.
• Proven experience building and shipping consumer mobile apps for Asian markets, understanding regional UX, design conventions, and technical limitations.
