Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, and engineering drawings for building and civil construction projects.
• Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and detailed cost estimates.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Evaluate materials and alternative design solutions to optimise costs.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 - 12 years of GCC experience in structural design and estimation within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel or other estimation tools.
• Proven experience in BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and tendering.
• Ability to interpret structural drawings, technical specifications, and contractual documents.
• Strong analytical, numerical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
