Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and navigate utility boats in various maritime conditions.
- Ensure strict adherence to all maritime regulations, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Oversee the routine maintenance and readiness of the utility boat and its equipment.
- Manage and lead the boat crew, ensuring efficient task execution and proper training.
- Coordinate effectively with shore-side operations for logistical support and supply transfers.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of voyages, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Boat Captain, preferably with utility or commercial vessels.
- Possession of a valid captain’s license and relevant maritime certifications (e.g., STCW).
- Strong knowledge of navigation, marine safety procedures, and vessel maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively and make sound decisions in a dynamic marine environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform duties associated with maritime operations.
