This position, listed by myGwork – LGBTQ+ Business Community on behalf of Reckitt, seeks a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead engineering and maintenance operations at Reckitt’s manufacturing facility in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The role focuses on maintaining high efficiency across factory operations while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with ISO standards. The successful candidate will manage a dynamic technical team and drive operational excellence through innovation, leadership, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all factory machinery, electrical, and electronic systems operate efficiently and safely.
- Develop and execute maintenance schedules, preventive programs, and calibration plans for production equipment.
- Oversee spare parts inventory, procurement, and equipment supply to minimize downtime.
- Assess equipment suitability and conduct technical studies for new or upgraded machinery.
- Maintain compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations; take immediate corrective actions when necessary.
- Supervise ERP-based maintenance requests, ensuring timely response and resolution.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, including risk-based process management and customer-focused reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing maintenance operations in large-scale manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated leadership in team management, technical decision-making, and operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to act decisively under pressure.
- Working knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and contract negotiation processes.
- Previous experience in production equipment maintenance and process optimization.
