You will be responsible for all technology store teams interact with, from connectivity and hardware to applications, aiming to make it simpler, more reliable, and easier to use. Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of store connectivity and hardware, collaborating with infrastructure teams to resolve reliability issues.
• Determine essential store devices and reduce unnecessary ones.
• Develop the roadmap for integrating multiple vendor apps and dashboards into a single colleague application.
• Lead the redesign of the colleague app in close partnership with design and engineering teams.
• Modernize inventory management processes to reduce manual work for store teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for store technology, influencing technical design and future development.
• Gather insights from in-store visits and cross-business teams to create well-defined requirements for engineers.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of retail operations and the technical expertise to build necessary store solutions.
• A decade or more of retail experience, including shop floor and central roles, with a proven track record of leading large-scale change.
• Experience resolving store connectivity and hardware problems.
• A history of simplifying technology through vendor consolidation, tool merging, or app retirement.
• Experience owning a mobile app for store or frontline staff, with a portfolio demonstrating a focus on simple design.
• Confidence in presenting to senior leadership, both verbally and in writing.
• Proven ability to deliver projects to completion, prioritizing effectively and keeping teams on track.
• Proficiency in using AI for tasks like prototyping, admin automation, or code assistance.
• Ability to extract insights from various data sources and identify data quality issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and drive work without direct authority.
