Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all customer-facing communications, ensuring messaging remains honest, reassuring, and knowledgeable.
• Write high-converting digital advertising copy, attention-grabbing headlines, and creative messaging concepts.
• Develop scripts and opening hooks for short-form video, creator, and user-generated content (UGC).
• Develop engaging email and SMS copy for retention programs, promotional events, and customer lifecycle campaigns.
• Write, refresh, and optimize product detail page (PDP) copy across direct-to-consumer and marketplace sales channels.
• Ensure copy complies strictly with applicable product-claim requirements, identifying and escalating potentially problematic claims for review.

Requirements

• Native-level or C2-equivalent English proficiency with proven professional copywriting experience in DTC, e-commerce, beauty, or hair-care brands.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted tools for copy ideation, research, and variation generation paired with strong independent editing judgment.
• Familiarity with marketplace platforms like Amazon and TikTok Shop.
• Strong background in writing compliant product claims, evaluating performance metrics (ad CTR, hook rate, email click rate, PDP conversion), and executing rapid copy turnarounds under tight timelines.
• Highly responsive to feedback, detail-oriented editorial judgment, and a balanced ability to write both persuasive conversion-focused copy and reassuring, educational product content.
• Ability to work inclusively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
