Zerolook is seeking a Senior ML Engineer (Technical Lead) to join their team in Zurich, Switzerland. This role is for an early hire who will define the technical approach at the core of their AI-scale flight shopping API. • Salary Range: CHF 140.000-150.000 + significant stock options

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, low-latency ML models for fare and itinerary estimation.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines to process massive volumes of historical fare and schedule data.
• Develop confidence scoring systems to intelligently route traffic between ML models and current legacy stacks.
• Develop core domain expertise in using ML for fare and itinerary prediction.
• Hire, lead, and mentor other engineers as the team grows.
• Partner alongside the founders with key organizations in the industry in developing the core Zerolook offering.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related field.
• Familiarity with the breadth of ML approaches and their relative strengths and weaknesses.
• 4+ years in designing, training, and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Strong software engineering skills with experience building robust, automated data pipelines.
• Comfortable with the "0 to 1" phase—ambiguity, fast iteration, and taking extreme ownership.
