Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Solutions Architect to join their team in Manama, Bahrain. • Experience: 6+ years of specific technology domain areas
• Qualifications: Basic Qualifications include 6+ years of experience in technology domain areas. Preferred Qualifications include experience with AWS technologies, migrating legacy solutions, and working in internet-related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform in partnership with the sales team.
• Formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Own the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.

Requirements

• Proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting.
• Ability to connect technology with measurable business value.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
• Passion for educating, training, designing, and building cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions and past experience as a systems engineer/architect.
• Keenness to keep technical skills honed and develop new ones for deep architecture discussions.
