Ghana, officially the Republic of Ghana, is a country located along the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean in West Africa. It shares borders with Côte d’Ivoire to the west, Burkina Faso to the north, Togo to the east, and the Atlantic Ocean to the south. The capital and largest city is Accra.

Ghana is one of Africa’s most stable democracies and a major regional hub for trade, education, and culture. The country is known for its gold, cocoa, and oil production, as well as its historical significance as the first sub-Saharan African nation to gain independence in 1957. Ghana is also home to diverse ethnic groups and rich cultural heritage, from the Ashanti Kingdom to coastal forts and castles that mark the transatlantic slave trade era.

The official language is English, and the currency is the Ghanaian Cedi (GHS). Ghana offers a tropical climate, beautiful coastlines, national parks, and welcoming people—making it one of Africa’s most attractive destinations for both tourism and investment.
