Minor Hotels is seeking a Bartender to join the Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. This role is crucial in providing exceptional food and beverage service in line with Minor Hotels standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve guests in accordance with Minor Hotels standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and sanitation.
• Display national hospitality and professionalism with guests.
• Take pride in all facets of service, quality, appearance, and cleanliness.
• Understand and adhere to Beverage Department Standard Operating Procedures and recommend improvements.
• Professionally set up the bar at the start of opening, including liquor, icing, glassware, juices, and garnishes.
• Process drink orders accurately, manage billing quickly and efficiently, and make cocktails according to the standard beverage manual.
• Receive and check liquor against previous shift’s requisitions, reporting any discrepancies to the Beverage Manager.
• Manage security in the work area and ensure proper relief before leaving the bar.
• Assist with cleanup tasks, including mopping floors, removal of cans and bottles, and general cleaning of rails and counters.
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, and drink preparation techniques.
• Friendly communication, active listening, and the ability to handle customer requests professionally.
• Ability to operate a POS system, process payments, and maintain accurate transactions.
• Previous experience in bartending in luxury hotels and restaurants.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a busy environment.
• Good memory, attention to detail, patience, teamwork, reliability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good spoken English is essential; additional languages are an advantage.
