Jr. Executive – Quality Control (QC)

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect footwear products during warehouse receiving to ensure compliance with approved quality standards.
• Verify received products against Purchase Order (PO), Delivery Challan, GRN, and other relevant documents.
• Check Article/Model, SKU, Size, Color, Quantity, and Product Condition during receiving.
• Identify and record product defects, including scratches, stains, color variation, stitching issues, sole defects, shape deformation, finishing problems, missing accessories, and other quality concerns.
• Verify packaging, labels, barcodes, tags, and other required product identification.
• Segregate defective, damaged, or non-conforming products and communicate findings to the Warehouse and Procurement teams.
• Prepare and maintain accurate Receiving QC Reports, including accepted, rejected, defective, shortage, excess, and other receiving discrepancies.
• Maintain supplier-wise and product-wise QC records for future reference.
• Immediately report major quality issues, repeated defects, quantity discrepancies, and non-conforming products to the QC Supervisor/Management.
• Coordinate with Warehouse and Procurement teams regarding receiving-related quality issues and corrective actions.
• Ensure all QC inspections and reports are completed accurately and within the required timeline.

Requirements

• Experience in Footwear QC / Warehouse QC / Receiving QC will be preferred.
• Good understanding of footwear quality standards and common product defects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues accurately.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Warehouse, Procurement, and QC teams.
